So it's week 2 and.....
"this week you are going to do some sorting, some filing, some tossing and a whole lot of organizing. And you are going to be doing these tasks to your purse or wallet and handbag (or manbag, as the case may be)."
she says to start off with bags etc which fortunately I have done and then it's moving on to office space etc. I gave up my desk recently and have tried to file everything at some time but the piles of paper do pile up in books etc. I'll have to see what I can do on the weekend as I don't have time or inclination when I'm working and I'm going away for a few days this week.
I've been looking at Barefoot Investor also and have sorted all my new will, Power of Attorney, Advanced Care Directive so I'm not doing too bad......

Let's start at the very beginning.....

So here I am trying something I've not done before in writing a blog. It's part of my Cheapskate's journey.
I've been involved with Cheapskates before but I wasn't consistent with my participation. I'm hoping to stay focused a bit longer. I have answered the original questions she asked and I'll put the responses here.

Question 1. What are your three biggest financial challenges?
1. 1. To stop spending on little things that I possibly don’t need
2. To accept that bilk of something because it’s cheaper is not necessarily cost effective
3. 3. To stop paying for treats for other people
Question 2. What are your top three goals for 2018?
1. 1. I need to manage my money more effectively
2. 2. I want to pay at least another $20,000 extra off my mortgage
3. 3. I want to go on holiday without depleting my savings
Question 3. What are your top three financial strengths?
1. 1. I’m good at paying things off
2. 2. I never get into so much debt that I have nowhere to go
3. 3. I pay my bills on time
